Lost Bullet, a 2020 French action thriller, was directed by Guillaume Pierret and written by Pierret, Alban Lenoir, and Kamel Guemra. The film’s sequel, Lost Bullet 2, premiered on Netflix on November 10, 2022, followed by the release of the third installment, Last Bullet, on May 7, 2025.

The film follows Lino, an ex-convict and getaway driver who also specializes in engineering cars for criminal activities in southern France. Lino, portrayed by Alban Lenoir, is granted day release by French police detective Charas to assist the drug squad by modifying police cars to catch drug runners. Over time, Charas helps secure a full pardon for Lino, along with a garage where he can continue his work.

Unfortunately, the story takes a dark turn when a corrupt cop, Areski, kills Charas. Areski wants to skim more money from the drug runners, but Charas, suspicious of his actions, plans to expose him. To cover his tracks, Areski frames Lino for the murder. In an effort to clear his name, Lino escapes from prison and sets out to find Areski and bring him to justice.

These films are perfect for fans of nonstop action and adrenaline-pumping thrillers. As a fan of both Alban Lenoir, who plays Lino, and Ramzy Bedia, who portrays Charas, I’m quite familiar with their work, and honestly, I can’t imagine anyone else playing Lino’s quest for vengeance. While the concept is straightforward, I’ll admit that some parts of the storyline across all three films can be confusing, fragmented, or disjointed. Additionally, certain performances could benefit from improvement. However, the action sequences are impressively well-executed.

Furthermore, Some of my favorite action scenes include the motorcycle chase and, of course, the intense car chases and the addition of the helicopters in the third installment were even more invigorating. Likewise, the precision in the maneuvers to avoid hitting any bystanders is truly impressive. One standout moment features the Alpine car, with the choreography being so well done that it rivals some high-budget Hollywood movies.

In conclusion, there’s not much more to say except that all three films are fun and entertaining, especially for action lovers like myself. If you enjoy extreme stunts, thrilling car chases, flips, crashes, and intense fight sequences, then these movies are definitely for you.
