The H Mart in Orlando is the chain’s largest store, spanning 100,074 square feet. It opened on September 25, 2025, at 7501 W Colonial Dr, Pine Hills, FL 32818, making it the first H Mart location in Florida.
H Mart began in 1982 as a small corner grocery store called Han Ah Reum in Woodside, Queens, New York, founded by Korean immigrant Il Yeon Kwon. Since then, it has expanded into a national chain with over 97 stores across the United States.
Cas & Bell recently visited the new Orlando location with our kids, and here are our thoughts:
What We Loved
- Impressive meat and seafood sections — fresh, well-stocked, and spacious.
- Multiple dining options — from quick snacks to full-course meals across various food-court stations.
- Plenty of dessert spots — perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.
- Photo booth — fun for families and kids.
- Paris Baguette — a great addition for pastries, bread, and drinks.
- Stationery section — cute and unique items.
- Arcade — a hit with the kids and a nice surprise.
Criticisms
- Higher prices on certain produce and frozen goods.
- Food-court limitations — not all vendors have full menus or flexible options.
- Long, extended lines — especially during peak hours.
- Heavy parking and in-store traffic — the store can feel crowded.
