Boutique-luxury vibe with more character than a typical resort. The location is unbeatable if you want walkability plus beautiful waterfront views.
Pros:
• Gorgeous marina + downtown views, especially at sunset
• Stunning rooftop with panoramic views of Downtown WPB
• Spruzzo rooftop restaurant — Mediterranean brunch & cocktails were a highlight
• Decor is giving “Palm Beach social club/library chic” — books, dark wood, coastal luxury (not your typical Marriott feel)
• Walking distance to Clematis Street, restaurants, bars, and the waterfront
• Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-designed with upscale touches (robes, smart TVs, stylish bathrooms)
• Outstanding service across the board — from guest services to restaurant staff
Cons:
• Drinks are expensive
• Rooftop gets very crowded, especially on weekends with limited seating
• Can feel more social than relaxing during peak times
• Valet is overpriced
Overall / Final Verdict:
As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I love their boutique-style hotels, and this one definitely met my expectations. I stayed over Memorial Day weekend, so I expected the crowds, especially at the rooftop and it delivered exactly that energy.
My room (pool view) was clean, comfortable, and quiet with no issues. The bed was super comfortable and the décor throughout the hotel is beautiful.
Overall, great vibe and ambiance, just be prepared to spend. Between the stay, food, and drinks, it can add up quickly if you’re not planning for it.
Would I stay again? Yes, just budget accordingly.
