FUZE is a 2026 British action thriller directed by David Mackenzie and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sam Worthington, and more.

The premise follows the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb at a construction site in London, forcing the city into a massive evacuation. But while everyone is focused on dealing with the bomb, a group of criminals sees chaos as the perfect opportunity to pull off a major bank robbery.

I enjoyed this movie. The premise was interesting because you have the bomb, the evacuation, and the bank robbery all happening at the same time, and I liked seeing how all these different pieces eventually came together.

The movie does a good job of keeping the suspense going, and there were some good twists and turns along the way. I also liked how the story moved between the criminals, police, and bomb squad because it kept things interesting and gave you different perspectives on what was happening.

The cast did a good job, especially Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Theo James. Nothing that I would say was award-winning, but everyone played their part well and kept the movie moving.

Now, there were some moments where I was like, “Okay, how is this even possible?” There are a few things that felt far-fetched, and some of the storyline became a little convoluted toward the end. But honestly, I didn’t let that take away from the overall experience.

This is one of those movies where you just have to go with it.

It doesn’t reinvent the heist or action-thriller genre, but it does give you enough suspense, action, and twists to keep you entertained. I also liked the fact that it didn’t try to be something it wasn’t. It’s simply a fun thriller with an interesting concept.
