This television series is based on the adaptation from the novel *Missing You), by Harlan Coben. The story follows a detective by the name of Kat Donovan, played by Rosalind Eleazar, as she discovers her fiancée on a dating app, a decade since he abruptly disappeared without a trace.
There are 5 episodes, each are between 40-46minutes long. Each episode has a steady, decent pace, where you’re learning about each character, a chance for you to develop your own conclusion as the story gradually builds onto the next. If you’re a fan of any types of television series or movies then, there’s a high chance that you’ve watched a few of Harlan book adaptations. Because they are universally, on different streaming platforms, cable T.V, online, etc.,
In my humble opinion, this series was respectable, not the best and certainly not the worst. The plot felt disorganized at times, too much going on at the same time, some scenes all over the place, jumping from one shocking revelation to the next with no time to adjust or fully comprehend the depth. I mean this series is your classic typical story that you’re used to & have expected from Harlan, not a lot of substance merely, the occasional double life secrets combined with the simplistic life of soap opera or Lifetime dramatics.
