One Mile: Chapter One & Chapter Two
Full Review
One Mile: Chapter One and One Mile: Chapter Two were both released digitally on February 20, 2026. The story follows an ex-Special Forces operative who takes his daughter on college tours. Wanting to spend some time off the grid, the two head out to check out the art college she’s interested in, but their quiet camping trip quickly turns into a fight for survival when they encounter a group of men.
Chapter One starts off pretty slow. The first 40 minutes or so are definitely a slow build, but once the action kicks in, the movie picks up quickly. The fight choreography is decent, but nothing that had me sitting on the edge of my seat. The acting could have been better across the board, and there really isn’t anything here that feels new or impressive.
That said, it was still a decent, fun watch.
Chapter Two picks up the daughter at the art college, where she once again finds herself dealing with the same group. Like the first film, it has enough action and suspense to keep things moving, and I found both movies enjoyable enough to watch.
Are they unforgettable? Absolutely not. But they’re also not bad.
Couple of Critics Verdict: One Mile is one of those movies you watch, enjoy, and probably forget about a day later. Nothing groundbreaking, the acting could be stronger, and the action isn’t anything we haven’t seen before but both chapters are entertaining enough for a casual watch.
Not great. Not terrible. Just a decent, fun action movie.
