The Terminal List is an American action thriller series created by David DiGilio for Prime Video and based on the 2018 novel by Jack Carr. The series stars Chris Pratt, Riley Keough, Constance Wu, and more.

Season 1 premiered on July 1, 2022, followed by the prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf in 2025. Now, Season 2, based on Jack Carr’s follow-up novel True Believer, premiered on October 21, 2026.

Season 1 gives us an action-packed revenge story centered around Navy SEAL James Reece, who sets out to uncover the truth behind the murder of his team and family. By the time we get to Season 2, the revenge list is complete, so the question becomes: What’s next for Reece?

And that’s where things get a little more interesting.

Season 2 moves beyond the revenge storyline and gives us a deeper look into who Reece is, what drives him, and what his life looks like after everything he’s been through. The supporting cast brings a strong ensemble to the series, while the international espionage storyline adds another layer to the action.

Let’s talk about the action because that’s definitely one of the highlights. The tactical operations, brutal hand-to-hand combat, and precise shooting sequences deliver the kind of intensity we’ve come to expect from this series. The action feels calculated, gritty, and well executed.

Now, it’s not without its flaws. A couple of episodes could have been tighter, and the heavier espionage angle does come at the expense of some of the emotional depth we got in Season 1. I would have liked a little more of that personal connection woven into the storyline.

That said, I found Season 2 a bit more interesting because it explores Reece beyond his mission for revenge. It’s not a perfect series, but it definitely keeps you invested.

Couple of Critics Verdict: The Terminal List delivers action, suspense, tactical intensity, and a strong supporting cast. Season 1 gave us the revenge, while Season 2 takes us deeper into the man behind the mission. There are a few pacing issues, but overall, this is a solid action thriller series.

This is definitely a MUST WATCH, especially if you’re a fan of military action, espionage, and a whole lot of tactical take-downs.
